Playgrounds play structures have suggested child
accommodations that should be followed to avoid
serious injury. Look for children capacities on each
of our play structures. For more on child accommodations

WHAT IS THE EXACT AREA SIZE AND SHAPE?
Your equipment will have a ground space and a
protective space. The protective area includes use
zones for your equipment. Each of our products
will show these area sizes. Never install playground
equipment over concrete or asphalt. It may result
in serious injury or death from falls.

WHAT SPECIAL NEEDS OR DISABILITIES
SHOULD BE CONSIDERED? The ADA (Americans
with disabilities act) mandates that portions
of all new playgrounds be accessible to children

WHAT TYPE OF SURFACING WILL YOU BE
USING? WHAT DEPTH?
Protective surfacing, the area under and around
the play equipment, should be soft enough to
cushion a fall. We recommend 6” to 12” of surfacing
for the play equipment. For more information
